MAES merges the 36th Annual David Rovner Endocrine Symposium (ADRES) and the new John Crockett Annual Thyroid Symposium (JCATS). JCATS is the first thyroid symposium to be held in the Lansing area. It is named in recognition of late John Crockett, MD, a senior radiologist at MSU and the area’s expert on thyroid ultrasonography, who served as a mentor and teacher to the faculty of the MSU Endocrinology Division over the years. ADRES was established in 1975, by David Rovner, MD, founder of MSU’s Endocrinology Division and was named in his honor in 2017.
